Joshua Tree National Park
Park campgrounds — Jumbo Rocks, Black Rock, Cottonwood — with dry camping, length limits, and Recreation.gov. Town of Joshua Tree is a different page.
These are the trips people actually take from the valley: Joshua Tree the park (not the town), Empire Polo in Indio, Anza-Borrego when the flowers actually bloom, up at the tram, Idyllwild via Palms to Pines, and the Salton Sea if you want an honest shoreline.
Drive times are from the valley floor, not from a fake shop. We can deliver to a campground pad when the site and the length allow it, or stage in the named city.

Empire Polo Club lots in Indio — Coachella weekend and Stagecoach weekend are the same fields, different crowds, different generator manners. The City of Coachella is not this page.

California's largest state park, 90 minutes via Hwy 86 — Borrego Palm Canyon, slot canyons, superbloom years that sell out. Not Joshua Tree and not a valley-floor park.

Up at the tram from the village, or the start of Palms to Pines — desert floor to pines in an hour. Not Idyllwild the town, and not a Class A tram ride.

East-valley shoreline past Mecca — snowbird parks, birders, Bombay Beach. Not a brochure beach, and not Empire Polo.

Ponderosa town via Hwy 74 from Palm Desert — length limits, cool nights, a walkable village the Class A does not enter. Opposite of the valley floor.
Joshua Tree is the signature RV trip from Palm Springs. Desert camping among boulder piles, dry camping at Jumbo Rocks, and cooler nights at Black Rock.
Climb Palms to Pines for Idyllwild camping, or head south to Anza-Borrego for wildflowers and Borrego Palm Canyon. Desert floor to pine forest in an hour.
Coachella and Stagecoach at Empire Polo Club, winter snowbird parks, and Salton Sea weekends. An RV is the most comfortable way to do desert events.
Don't want to drive the RV yourself? No problem. We offer delivery and setup to campgrounds throughout the Coachella Valley. When your trip is over, we pick it up. You just enjoy the camping.
Dry camping at Jumbo Rocks, a generator on an Indio polo lot, or a length-limited pad in Idyllwild — tell us which trip so we send the right rig.
