A festival pass is a set of rules before it's a wristband. We match the rental to what the pass actually allows. We don't rewrite the festival's own PDF and we don't guess at rules that aren't published.

Coachella: the generator rule doesn't even reach you

Coachella's camping page lists "NO Generators (Gas)" for its car camping lots, with a separate powered option in Lot 5B limited to a single 3-prong outlet for phones and small devices, not appliances. That rule exists for car campers, because Coachella doesn't sell RV camping in the first place. The same page bans "RVs, trailers, motorhomes, buses" outright. If you're renting an RV for Coachella week, the generator rule is a non-issue. The bigger rule is that your RV isn't going on-site at all, period.

Stagecoach: the site size is the rule that actually matters

Stagecoach's Resort RV camping sells sites at a fixed 20 feet by 50 feet, wired for 30-amp and 50-amp power, eight resort wristbands included. That 50-foot figure is the site length, not a suggestion. A rig that's long, plus a tow vehicle if it's a trailer, has to fit inside that footprint. Stagecoach also only allows factory-installed generators, no portable units, and can require you to shut a factory unit down if the exhaust bothers a neighboring site.

Here's the part that actually changes what we send you: if your pass or your reserved lot specifies a length limit, we will not deliver a rig over that limit, even if it looks fine in the listing photos. A 32-foot fifth wheel plus a 20-foot tow truck does not fit inside a 50-foot site with room to move. Measure the whole rig, not just the RV, before you book.

The Resort has a fixed window, not an open weekend

Stagecoach's own page states the Resort runs Thursday 9 a.m. through Monday 10 a.m., and that's the whole window, not just the festival days. Check-in hours vary by day inside that span: Thursday from 9 a.m. through Friday 2 a.m., Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. through 8 p.m. each day, and Sunday from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m. Pedestrian check-in stays open around the clock across the whole Resort period, but vehicle and RV check-in follows those specific windows. Monday 10 a.m. is the hard load-out deadline for every camping guest, RV included. Arrive outside your check-in window or plan to still be on-site past Monday morning and you're outside what the festival itself publishes, not just cutting it close.

The page's language around cooking-appliance hours (7 a.m. to 2 a.m.) doesn't clearly say whether that also governs generator run time specifically, separate from the factory-installed-only rule already covered above. We're not going to present that as a clean generator-hours rule when the source itself doesn't draw that line clearly. Confirm directly with Stagecoach if a specific overnight generator window matters to your stay.

What we won't do

We won't invent a hookup fact that isn't published, and we won't tell you a generator rule applies to Coachella RV camping when Coachella doesn't sell RV camping.
