BNP Paribas Open RV Parking in Indian Wells

BNP Paribas Open runs February 28 through March 14, 2027, and neither the tournament's own site nor the venue publishes an RV or oversized-vehicle parking policy. Indian Wells also runs some of the strictest overnight-parking HOAs in the valley, so the honest plan is delivery, not a lot outside the gate.

Tennis week gets talked about like a tailgate. It isn't one, and the venue itself doesn't set up for it.

No published RV policy, and that's the actual finding

BNP Paribas Open 2027 runs February 28 through March 14 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Highway 111. We checked the tournament's own Getting Here page directly. It covers general parking, ADA parking, and a complimentary lot for one car brand's drivers. It says nothing about RVs, motorhomes, trailers, or oversized vehicles, and neither does the venue's own site. That's not an oversight we're filling in with a guess. There simply isn't a published RV lot here the way there is at Empire Polo for Stagecoach.

The scale of this event is real, even without an RV lot

The tournament's own site puts a number on why hotels vanish for two weeks: Stadium 1 alone seats 16,000, one of 29 courts on the grounds. That's a single-stadium crowd larger than most valley cities' entire population, arriving daily for two straight weeks, on top of everyone staying at nearby resorts for the season anyway. The venue doesn't publish a total attendance figure, but a 16,000-seat main stadium running multiple sessions a day for 15 days is why every hotel on Highway 111 is gone the moment tickets go on sale.

Getting there without your own vehicle is actually solved, just not with an RV lot. The tournament's Getting Here page names a rideshare pickup and drop-off zone near the North Gate for Uber, Lyft, and taxis, plus a complimentary shuttle for guests booked through an official partner hotel. If your rig is staged at a driveway rather than the venue, a rideshare from there to the North Gate is the actual plan, not trying to find parking at the Tennis Garden itself.

Indian Wells has the strictest overnight rules in the valley anyway

Even if there were a venue lot, Indian Wells runs some of the tightest HOA and overnight-parking restrictions of any city in the Coachella Valley. A rig sitting outside the gate overnight is a different problem here than it would be in a less regulated city. The honest plan for tennis week isn't a tailgate lot at all. It's delivery to a driveway, either in Indian Wells itself if the HOA already allows it, or a nearby city with more room.

Don't confuse this with La Quinta or El Paseo

Indian Wells is not La Quinta's Cove, and it isn't Palm Desert's El Paseo shopping strip. All three sit along or near Highway 111 within a few miles of each other, but tennis week traffic, hotel sellouts, and parking rules are specific to Indian Wells. Tell us which city your stay is actually in.

What this means for the rig

Without a venue lot, size and delivery logistics matter more than usual. Best RV type for this valley covers picking hardware that actually fits a driveway stay, and delivery vs. pickup covers how we handle HOA-restricted cities generally.
